You will contribute directly to shaping the future of housing delivery by preparing compelling bids, marketing materials, and strategic development plans that strengthen the organization’s pipeline and industry presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement business development strategies specific to the social and affordable housing sector.

• Lead the preparation of high-quality bids, tenders, and written submissions.

• Create engaging marketing materials, case studies, and presentations to showcase expertise.

• Identify new prospects and build strong relationships with housing associations, local authorities, and related organizations.

• Monitor housing market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.

• Support internal communications and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced business development and marketing professional with a proven track record in the housing sector. You should have excellent communication skills, a commercial mindset, and the ability to influence decision-makers through persuasive proposals and strategic engagement.

Essential Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in business development, marketing, and bid management within social or affordable housing.

• Strong bid writing and tender management capabilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex projects into clear, compelling narratives.

• Commercially astute, proactive, and collaborative approach to work.

• Must be based within a commutable distance of Manchester.
