This is a rare opportunity to combine hands-on marketing expertise with strategic influence, shaping the UK brand strategy, activating campaigns across multiple channels, and leading a small marketing team. You’ll work closely with commercial teams to ensure marketing directly drives growth, while also championing a brand that’s making a positive impact in the world.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver the UK brand strategy and activation plan, translating consumer insights into growth-driving marketing activity.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the Junior Marketing Manager, building a high-performing marketing function.
  • Oversee the consistent execution of brand identity, positioning, and communications across all channels.
  • Drive visibility and engagement across retail, e-commerce, direct-to-consumer platforms, and social media.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, events, brand activations, sampling, and partnerships to grow awareness and trial.
  • Partner with commercial teams to ensure marketing activity supports revenue and joint business plans.
  • Manage the end-to-end marketing budget, allocating spend to strategic priorities and ensuring ROI.
  • Collaborate with international teams to align global campaigns, brand imagery, and purpose communications.
  • Lead agency relationships to deliver creative, high-impact brand communications.
  • Champion the brand’s purpose and ethical positioning, ensuring it resonates with consumers and stakeholders.

 

Required Experience and Background

  • 7+ years experience in FMCG marketing, ideally with brand management, trade marketing, digital, social, and events expertise.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans that drive growth.
  • Leadership experience with people management and coaching.
  • Strong track record in delivering omni-channel marketing campaigns that impact sales.
  • Highly skilled in stakeholder management, communication, and influencing across teams and agencies.
  • Strong creative and analytical mindset, with ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Passionate about ethical, impact-led brands with high personal integrity and social conscience.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Tertiary education (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
  • Occasional travel across the UK may be required.
