Description:
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Campaigns team. Reporting in to the Head of Marketing. The successful candidate will be interested in the Southbank Centre's broad range of art-forms and have some specialist knowledge of marketing Classical music events. Can communicate and work well with a wide range of people, has a creative, flexible and adaptable approach and enjoys working as part of a team.
Essential skills and experience required:
- Has a specialist interest in and knowledge of at least one of Southbank Centre’s artforms and / or experience marketing a venue as a ‘destination’.
- Has significant experience of devising and implementing strategic marketing campaigns, across a range of media including on/off line advertising, direct mail, print production, e-marketing, social media, promotions and partnerships.
- Has experience of leading a project team and successfully delivering complex projects with a range of stakeholders;
- Has strong time management skills and an ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Can demonstrate experience of line management; either of individual team members or design teams/external agencies;
- Has a proven track record of managing budgets effectively and hitting sales targets in a fast moving environment;
- Can demonstrate advanced data analysis and interpretation skills, with the ability to convert findings into actionable campaigns;
- Can communicate and work well with a wide range of people, and is able to negotiate and network effectively internally and externally;
- Is able to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the role that diversity and inclusion play in the activities of the Southbank Centre as a whole and in the work of this particular job.
