Description:

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Visitor Experience Officer, focussing on Events and Marketing. You will work with members of the team to plan and deliver events at the Roundhouse, promote our tour experiences and meeting room offer, and increase the use of the small but versatile Events Space.

Who we're looking forIt’s a significant role at a busy property and we need someone who can take on a challenge. To deliver this role successfully, you’ll need to be:

  • Highly organised and methodical, with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident in setting priorities and meeting deadlines, with high standards of efficient event delivery
  • A great team player with a willingness to share your knowledge, possessing a high level of self-motivation and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Someone with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Someone with strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle changing requirements and solve problems
  • Some knowledge and experience of managing budgets and resources, familiarity with health and safety procedures and experience of identifying risks, and knowledge of different access requirements
  • Excellent digital skills, knowledge and experience of working with different social media platforms, and the ability to learn and understand new systems
  • Friendly and approachable, bringing enthusiasm and positivity to the role, with a willingness to contribute and support the team and the needs of the organisation
