As our new Marketing UK Lead you’ll lead the transformation from a centrally steered marketing approach to a locally empowered structure – starting with you. You will act as the strategic and operational lead for all local brand & marketing activities and play a key role in building the yfood brand in one of our most promising international markets.
You combine deep local marketing expertise with strong digital and social media competence and understand how to activate a brand across channels and communities. You're able to work within a matrix structure and know how to collaborate across central and local teams. You're not just a planner – you're a builder.
Your Responsibilities
- Own the local marketing strategy and adapt the global brand platform for the UK market
- Drive brand awareness, relevance and credibility through culturally resonant storytelling
- Ensure consistent brand activation across retail, social, digital, influencer, partnerships & PR
- Translate consumer insights into tailored campaigns and own the UK brand calendar
- Build and lead the UK marketing team step by step – starting with yourself
- Collaborate closely with the international teams in Munich (Social, Brand Activation, Influencer, CRM, Performance, Trade Marketing) and lead for consistent and holistic local execution.
- Prepare for future team growth (e.g. Junior Brand Activation, Trade Marketing UK) and define the needed roles and workflows accordingly
- Lead the implementation of campaigns across all major brand channels, integrating Social Media, Influencer Marketing, Content Creation, Brand Activation and POS
- Collaborate with the Retail team to support sell-in, listings and in-store executions
- Ensure strong performance tracking, KPI monitoring and budget efficiency across initiatives
- Reporting to the UK Country Manager, act as a strong marketing counterpart with clear ownership for the brand side
- Foster alignment and collaboration with central functions in Munich HQ (Media, Creative, Digital, E-Commerce, Trade)
- Ensure seamless cross-functional execution across local and central teams
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Native English speaker or fluent in English with a deep understanding of UK consumer culture and media landscape
- 5–8 years experience in Brand Marketing or Integrated Marketing Roles in FMCG, DTC, Lifestyle or Food
- Proven track record in building brands, owning campaigns and leading channel execution
- Strong social media, influencer, and content marketing expertise
- Comfortable working in matrix organizations with dotted reporting lines and international collaboration
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on builder mindset
- Analytical skills and marketing planning experience (budget, ROI, KPIs, etc.)
