Northcote is recruiting Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineers for leading building services consultancies across London, the surrounding areas and the Midlands.
You’ll take on the design side of M&E, from concept through to construction, at whatever stage of your career you’re at:
🎓 Graduate: build your technical foundations with structured training and mentoring
📈 Intermediate: take ownership of design packages and grow toward chartership
🏆 Senior: lead projects, mentor junior engineers and work directly with clients
🧭 Principal: shape technical direction and quality across major projects
🤝 Associate: help lead the business, win work and develop the team
🔧 Mechanical Design Engineers
Heat loss and cooling load calcs, duct and pipe sizing, plant selection, Revit models and specifications for HVAC and public health
💻 IES VE, TAS, Hevacomp, Cymap, MagiCAD, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks
⚡ Electrical Design Engineers
Cable sizing and BS 7671 calcs, lighting design, distribution schematics, Revit layouts and specifications for power, fire alarm and security
💻 Amtech, ElecCalc, Dialux, Relux, MagiCAD, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks

What we’re looking for:
✅ A degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in building services or a related discipline
✅ Building services design experience (for intermediate level and above)
✅ A collaborative approach and strong communication skills
