We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join AVRS, part of the Galliford Try group. Following several long-term framework awards, we are looking for ambitious individuals with a strong industrial background to support long-term projects within the Water Treatment Sector.

Projects range from £5k to £10m, where we act as Principal Contractor and Principal Designer, as well as supporting Tier 1 contractor clients. This is a permanent position, offering stability and growth within a thriving team.

What you will be doing:
 

• Work as part of the mechanical installation team, completing scope of works safely and in line with client specifications, standards, and AVRS mechanical safety rules.
• Engage with AVRS’s positive safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and promote a positive safety culture.
• Deliver installation works to the highest standards, in accordance with contract requirements and project quality plans.
• Coach and mentor Mechanical Improvers and Apprentices.
• Collaborate effectively within a growing team.
   

About You:
 

• Ability to interpret Mechanical installation drawings and complete installations with minimal assistance from the Mechanical Supervisor.
• Appropriate trade qualifications.
• Industrial Experience.
• CSCS or CCNSG.
• Full UK driving licence.
