What You'll Do
As a Membership Business Development Executive, you'll be at the forefront of our commercial growth. You'll:
- Support and grow a high-value sales pipeline—from prospecting, lead generation to qualification
- Drive new business by targeting C-suite executives across the energy sector
- Own Insights and opportunity: by supporting BDM's for pitch meetings, preparing background and proposition that will be most impactful to prospective client
- Close with impact: working in collaboration with the BDM team on supporting closing process
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, community and online trading teams to refine our offering and deliver exceptional member experiences
- Represent E-FWD at high-profile events, building relationships and uncovering new opportunities
What We're Looking For

- Proven success in B2B sales, ideally in subscriptions, memberships, or professional services
- Mastery of the sales cycle, from cold outreach to consultative selling and closing
- Energy and resilience, to own your success and growth in the role
- CRM fluency and a data-driven mindset to manage and optimize your pipeline (we use HubSpot)
- Account management skills, with a focus on renewals, upselling, and long-term value
- Confidence and charisma—you're comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and tailoring your pitch to their needs
- A passion for energy, innovation, and transformation—and a desire to be part of something evolving
