Fella & Jones is delighted to be partnering with an exciting contemporary womenswear brand on a high-impact Merchandising Manager opportunity. This London-based label, known for its modern aesthetic and global reach, is seeking a commercially driven and detail-oriented merchandising expert to join its growing team.
This is a pivotal role responsible for shaping product strategy and maximising performance across D2C e-commerce and wholesale channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead seasonal and in-season planning across digital and wholesale channels, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time
- Work closely with the product team to plan and refine seasonal assortments based on data-driven insights and brand vision
- Manage inventory levels to optimise stock availability, minimise markdown risk, and improve sell-through
- Own the forecasting and reforecasting process across all categories and channels, using performance data and trend analysis
- Analyse trading performance and identify opportunities for in-season actions
- Create and maintain detailed range plans and option counts that support commercial objectives
- Partner cross-functionally with design, sales, production, and e-commerce to deliver aligned and commercially viable collections
- Develop and present regular reports on performance, sales trends, and stock positions
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in merchandising within womens fashion, ideally across both D2C e-commerce and wholesale
- Strong inventory management and forecasting skills with a highly analytical mindset
- Experienced in planning assortments collaboratively with product and design teams
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets
- Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and commercial acumen
- Able to communicate effectively across teams and influence senior stakeholders
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile environment with a proactive, solution-focused approach
