As a Business Central Consultant, you will lead end-to-end consultancy engagements—from initial analysis to go-live. You will conduct workshops, prepare detailed documentation using the SureStep methodology, manage UAT and data migration tasks, and provide strategic guidance on system configurations and best practices. This role offers the chance to work on major Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV projects and influence transformation efforts across various clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead client consultancy engagements including system analysis, configuration, training, and go-live support

• Conduct workshops to gather requirements and develop comprehensive documentation

• Oversee system customization and data migration activities

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist with issue resolution

• Advise clients on ERP best practices, particularly within finance and construction workflows

• Work collaboratively with project managers and client stakeholders to ensure successful implementations

• Drive client engagement and software adoption across the project lifecycle

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in implementing ERP systems, ideally Dynamics 365 Business Central or Microsoft NAV

• Strong understanding of accounting/finance processes, with preference for candidates experienced in construction or project-based accounting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing clients at director level

• Familiarity with project methodologies and full software implementation lifecycles

• Must hold a valid UK driver’s license and be open to travel as required

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of construction, housebuilding, or project finance

• Experience with RapidStart tools and ERP data migration

• Understanding of software development lifecycles and business change management
