Midday Supervisor

Description:

The Midday Supervisor plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and positive environment for students during the midday period. Your main responsibility will be to supervise students during lunch breaks and designated play areas, ensuring their safety and welfare throughout this critical time in the school day.

You will:

• Oversee students during the midday break including playgrounds, lunch halls, and other designated areas to ensure their safety and promote positive behaviour.

• Support students with their social interaction, encouraging kindness, respect, and cooperation.

• Help manage before-school wraparound activities such as early morning play, breakfast preparation, and other structured activities.

• Act as a role model, ensuring all children experience a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive atmosphere.

• Report any concerns or incidents to school staff promptly, contributing to safeguarding and child protection policies.

This role requires an individual who is attentive, approachable, and able to maintain order while fostering a fun, respectful environment for children.
