Midday Supervisor

Description:

Lift Hockley, part of the Lift Schools network, is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and proactive Midday Supervisor to join its outstanding and supportive team. This is a rewarding part-time role where you will play an essential role in ensuring the safety, welfare, and overall enjoyment of pupils during lunchtime periods.

The Midday Supervisor will be responsible for supervising children in the dining hall, playground, and other communal spaces, encouraging positive behaviour and supporting inclusive play. You will contribute to fostering a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment where children can relax, socialise, and engage in constructive play activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise pupils during lunch breaks in the dining hall, playground, and other communal areas.

• Encourage positive behaviour and inclusivity during play and social interactions.

• Ensure a safe and secure environment, dealing calmly and effectively with any issues that arise.

• Support children’s social, emotional, and behavioural needs with patience and empathy.

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and contribute to the supportive school environment.

• Work collaboratively with staff to maintain a cohesive and safe school culture.
