The team

With the recent launch of ITVX, as ITV evolves from a TV brand to a streaming brand, it’s important the way we connect with our viewers is reflective of that. This is a new team within ITV Creative, to ensure we have creative excellence across every touchpoint, throughout the marketing funnel bringing performance marketing expertise to help us drive audience growth on ITVX.


The role

Reporting into the Creative Director of Performance marketing, You’ll be working on the “always on” performance marketing creative, to bring to life the marketing and media strategy for ITVX and ITV. Channels include: including paid social (Meta platforms and Tiktok), display, You Tube, Connected/Targeted TV and CRM. This would involve working closely with the relevant teams within ITV Marketing and Media, as well as the broader ITVC team.

The role of the Midweight Graphic/Motion Designer is to generate best in class quality designs for ITVX to keep the creative output at a very high standard by maintaining our visual identity across digital marketing materials. If you can create brilliant graphic and motion designs that bring creative ideas to life then this role is for you. Working closely with the wider creative team, you’ll help generate design ideas for campaigns. This will include formats for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Digital banners and TV.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

  • Previous experience of creative designs for the social and digital landscape

  • The ability to generate original and thought-provoking ideas working to a Marketing brief and to understand the strategic rationale behind the brief

  • Have a strong sense of design as well as motion graphic skills

  • Strong typographic skills

  • Proven portfolio of relevant work

  • Strong knowledge of the differences between social platforms and what works/doesn't work

  • Strong communication skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Ability to work on multiple assignments with varying deadlines

  • Ability to cope under pressure and prioritise work loads

  • To have a proven ability to work successfully both autonomously and as part of a team

  • Ability to accept creative direction and constructive feedback from line management and all other relevant stakeholders

  • Resourceful, with the ability to make something from nothing

  • Previous experience of working in an advertising creative agency or a brand would be advantageous.
