Techmunity is hiring an AI/MLOps Engineer for a cutting-edge London-based startup revolutionizing healthcare documentation using AI. The startup, recently completing a successful pilot and onboarding paying customers, is on track for a large-scale commercial rollout across 160+ care homes. Backed by Outward VC, Portfolio Ventures, and the founder of Blue Prism, they are now expanding their engineering team, and this role is critical to their mission of returning valuable time to caregivers.

The platform transforms 30-second voice notes from frontline staff into structured documentation using advanced AI — eliminating hours of admin and enabling better, more human-centered care. Your role will ensure this AI system runs reliably, efficiently, and at scale in real-world settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain agentic LLM workflows for natural language processing and transformation.

• Develop robust CI/CD pipelines, utilize MLFlow, and manage deployments on Azure.

• Monitor and evaluate deployed models, integrating real-time feedback loops to ensure stability and accuracy.

• Build AI interfaces that are intuitive for non-technical users — focusing on voice input rather than complex dashboards.

• Handle messy real-world inputs and scale solutions across thousands of users and multiple care environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Production experience with LLMs/generative AI and real-world AI systems.

• Strong proficiency in Python, Docker, MLOps tools, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

• Hands-on with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), prompt chaining, and model evaluation techniques.

• Fast-paced builder mindset — focused on quality, usability, and rapid iteration.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with multimodal AI, prompt-heavy systems, or healthcare/social care data.

• Understanding of the complexities of frontline care environments and documentation workflows.

• Salary: £80,000–£100,000/year (£6667–£8333/month)
