Description:
Pinsent Masons' Vario division is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join its Managed Legal Services (MLS) team within the Property group. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a market-leading alternative legal services provider, handling a diverse portfolio of asset management matters while delivering high-quality client services.
The role will be based in one of our Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, or Manchester offices, with flexible working options available.
Core Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate various asset management documents, including leases, licenses, variations, surrenders, extensions, and consents.
- Support lease management, tracking key dates, handling renewals/terminations, and ensuring compliance with lease terms.
- Assist with due diligence for property transactions, organizing key documents for risk assessment and compliance.
- Ensure portfolio-wide compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain organized matter management systems for easy accessibility by the client team.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior paralegals, fostering best practices in asset management.
- Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, including in-house legal, estates, and operational teams, ensuring efficient communication.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
- Strong Paralegal experience in property asset management.
- Prior experience in a large commercial law firm, understanding the service delivery expectations.
- Proficiency in using legal technology platforms for enhanced client service.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large portfolios effectively.
Preferred:
- Experience with legal project management in property law.
- Familiarity with lease compliance and real estate due diligence.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic legal environment.
