Mobile Platform Lead

A well-known British motoring company is seeking a Mobile Platform Lead to take ownership of their mobile application strategy and lead the development of high-quality cross-platform apps using Flutter. This is a brand-new role, offering a rare opportunity to define mobile technology standards, architecture, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

📱 Lead the strategy and standards for mobile development within the company.
🛠 Architect, build, and maintain scalable cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter & Dart.
🔍 Conduct code reviews, ensure best practices, and mentor other developers.
🚀 Oversee the Google Play & Apple App Store submission processes, versioning, and release management.
💡 Collaborate with business stakeholders to define the long-term mobile application vision.
📢 Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical teams.

Essential Skills & Experience:

✅ Extensive experience with Flutter & Dart for cross-platform mobile app development.
✅ Strong understanding of Flutter widgets, state management techniques (Provider, Bloc, Riverpod).
✅ Expertise in mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture).
✅ Proven knowledge of Google Play Store & Apple App Store guidelines and release processes.
✅ Strong leadership and mentoring skills within a mobile development team.
✅ Experience working at a strategic level, defining mobile platform goals and standards.
