Alliance Healthcare, operating under Cencora, a leading distributor and wholesaler of pharmaceutical, medical, and healthcare products in the United Kingdom, is seeking a reliable and experienced Multi Drop Driver to join their dynamic Fleet and Transport Team. The company serves over 17,000 pharmacies, hospitals, and dispensing doctors nationwide, playing a significant role in ensuring critical medical supplies reach their destinations efficiently and safely.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting upwards of 50 high-volume pharmaceutical deliveries per day using a 3.5-tonne van while maintaining the integrity and security of all goods. This position is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of the medical supply chain and directly impacts the end-users, the patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 3.5-tonne van to complete assigned daily pharmaceutical deliveries.

• Load and unload totes (up to 25kg) while ensuring their safety and integrity.

• Perform daily vehicle checks to maintain roadworthy conditions.

• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate effectively with the transport team.

• Work five days a week, Monday to Saturday (working 5 out of 6 days, including Saturdays).

Requirements:

• Valid manual driver's licence with no more than 3 ‘live’ points.

• Previous experience as a Multi Drop Van Driver or in a similar delivery role.

• Familiarity with local traffic laws and assigned delivery routes.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently while adhering to strict delivery schedules.
