Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for an electrical biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join us at Midland Lead, an award-winning, Family-run lead sheet manufacturer that offers a comprehensive range of products to both national and independent building and roofing merchants. You will be working 40 hours per week on rotating shifts (mornings and afternoons) and will receive a salary up to £45,000 per annum. As Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer at Midland Lead, your responsibilities will include:
 

• Promptly repairing machinery to ensure seamless production without any delays.
• Upholding the seamless operation of the site and its machinery, with the ultimate aim of minimising any detrimental effects on production.
   

At Midland Lead, we’re looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with the following:
 

• Maintenance experience in traditional heavy process plant machinery
• Strong Electrical experience, with an understanding of PLC controls, 18th Edition certified.
• Strong Mechanical Experience in fixing traditional machinery - gears, motors, control units and general mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge and experience in welding and fabricating would be highly advantageous, but not essential. Our focus on training and development will ensure we support you with your skills development.
