Description:
An exceptional opportunity has opened up for a Music Teacher at a unique and holistic secondary school located in the heart of East London (Redbridge). This school is celebrated for its nurturing environment, emphasis on whole-child development, and its cutting-edge performing arts department. They are currently recruiting a dedicated Music Teacher to join their innovative team from September 2025 on a permanent full-time basis.
This is a vibrant role where you’ll be teaching GCSE and A-Level Music only, with no KS3 teaching. The school boasts newly constructed facilities, including a state-of-the-art recording studio and a bespoke Apple Technology Suite specifically designed for music production and performance. You will be part of a thriving department with a high uptake of students in the arts through KS5, supported by small class sizes and additional planning and preparation time.
The leadership places a strong emphasis on teaching and learning, rather than data-driven performance pressure, creating a rewarding and fulfilling teaching environment. For Early Career Teachers (ECTs), comprehensive mentorship programs are offered with a clear path to leadership. TLRs (Teaching and Learning Responsibilities) are also available for experienced teachers demonstrating initiative and strength in the field.
