THE ROLE
Reporting to the Foodservice Head of Sales, this new NAE investment will have two key responsibilities:
1. To focus on selling their branded range into strategically targeted end-users, and coordinating national or regional route-to-market wholesalers.
2. To manage and develop a small portfolio of wholesale customers, some of which are associated with the major UK foodservice distributor groups.
Key objectives are to grow branded listings, volumes and profitable sales growth, while maximising efficiencies by ‘getting under the skin’ of the major distributors and influencing their sales teams. You will create effective JBPs, develop customer range reviews and implement marketing activity and promotional plans in line with the channel strategy.
ABOUT YOU
Of graduate calibre you have developed your sales career in the world of branded food or drink products selling into the UK foodservice channel. Currently working at Territory Manager/BDE/BDM or Account Manager level, you possess a strong understanding of how brands succeed in foodservice, including awareness of how to work with, influence and motivate the major distributors’ sales teams. You may be managing regional distributors/wholesalers or major end-user accounts and now looking to further develop your career up into a high performing and supportive national account team.
You are intelligent, inquisitive and want to learn and have a highly ambitious, driven style with proven strategic brand selling abilities to ‘cut the mustard’ and are proud of your selling achievements and successes to date – we would love you to come tell us about them!
