Description:
This company is seeking a National Account Manager to manage key national accounts in the fine food industry, including contract catering, hotels, and restaurants. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of food trends and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. This is a key role in managing and growing national group accounts while ensuring top-tier clients receive the best service.
Key Responsibilities:
Own a portfolio of national group accounts across contract catering, hotels, and restaurants
Grow existing accounts while acquiring new business
Serve as the go-to contact for top-tier clients, ensuring they get the best from the product range
Negotiate and manage contracts, including pricing structures and category growth
Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations) to ensure client satisfaction
Skills & Experience Required:
Experience in national account sales, ideally within the fine food industry
Commercially savvy with the ability to spot opportunities
Strong customer-first mindset, building long-term relationships
Excellent time management skills, able to manage multiple accounts effectively
In-depth knowledge of food and market trends
Strong communication skills, capable of negotiating, presenting, and influencing
A full UK driving licence
