Description:
The Advocate Group is seeking a National Account Manager – Grocery to take full ownership of a key grocery account within a rapidly evolving food business that has undergone a strategic rebrand and is investing significantly in future growth.
In this high-impact, commercially driven role, you will report to the National Account Controller and lead the day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives with a leading UK grocery retailer. This includes overseeing joint business plan (JBP) execution, driving promotional planning and forecasting, and nurturing high-value customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a key UK grocery account and lead a major retail growth initiative
Execute Joint Business Plans (JBP) and deliver on commercial goals
Plan promotions and forecast performance effectively
Liaise with senior retail stakeholders and internal teams
Actively shape and contribute to the business’s evolving commercial strategy
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Demonstrated experience as a National Account Manager or a capable Junior NAM ready for advancement
Experience managing major UK grocery accounts, preferably one of the Top 4
Strong commercial acumen and confidence in high-stakes negotiations
Highly collaborative, credible, and able to foster trust across internal and external stakeholders
Adaptive and enthusiastic in dynamic, growth-focused environments
Benefits and Offer:
Annual Salary: £60,000
Monthly Salary: £5000
Additional: Car allowance + 20% performance-based bonus
Hybrid working setup: 2 days in Central London every other week
