The role of Netball Coach involves planning and delivering inclusive and progressive sessions across a wide range of programmes, including school-based clubs, early years classes, and structured camps. This is an ideal opportunity for a coach who is enthusiastic about nurturing young athletes, developing movement and coordination in toddlers, and encouraging children to build a strong foundation in netball while enjoying the game.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, structure, and deliver fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate netball sessions.

• Lead after-school clubs in alignment with school schedules and expectations.

• Conduct toddler and early years sessions focused on coordination, movement, and basic ball-handling.

• Support and manage netball activities at holiday camps, ensuring player engagement.

• Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment that encourages participation and growth.

• Maintain high safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare standards for all players.

• Build effective communication with parents, schools, and the wider coaching team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience coaching netball (or multi-sport with a netball focus).

• Minimum UKCC Level 1 or Level 2 Netball Coaching (or equivalent qualification).

• Confidence, enthusiasm, and reliability in working with children of varying ages and abilities.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).

• Safeguarding and First Aid training (or willingness to complete).

Desirable Skills:

• Experience delivering toddler or early years sports sessions.

• Previous coaching in school or camp settings.

• Full driving licence and/or reliable access to transport.
