Overview

The nctNeurofeedback Clinic provides evidence-based brain assessment and neurofeedback training for children and adults presenting with cognitive, emotional, and neurodevelopmental difficulties.

This role is designed for individuals seeking structured clinical training in applied neuroscience, followed by ongoing hands-on work in a busy clinical environment. It is suited to candidates who are at an early stage of their clinical or neuroscience career and are looking for a sustained, skills-based role rather than short-term experience.

Contract Structure

This is an 18-month fixed-term contract.

The contract commences at the start of training.

Training and clinical work form a single, continuous role.

Applicants must be able to commit to the full duration of the contract.

Training & Clinical Role

You will be trained to deliver neurofeedback training under the supervision of a qualified neuroscientist. This includes administering neurofeedback protocols (4-channel, 19-channel, amplitude-based training) and supporting qEEG data collection using 19-channel systems. Clinical responsibility increases progressively in line with demonstrated competence.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer qEEG-guided neurofeedback brain training and brain entrainment to adults and children with emotional, learning, and stress-related conditions.

• Collect qEEG data for clinical interpretation and translation into brain maps.

• Execute individualised neurofeedback training plans as prescribed.

• Coordinate session scheduling and accurately track sessions delivered in line with the training plan.

• Manage clients during training sessions and monitor progress across the course of treatment.

• Track relevant dietary factors and changes in medication that may impact brain function and training outcomes.

• Chart, monitor, and document training sessions and symptomatic progress over time.

• Participate in clinical review of client progress and training effectiveness.

• Complete session notes within the established clinical record system and required documentation timelines.

Required Availability

• Minimum two shifts per week, on two different weekdays.

• Each shift is a minimum of four hours.

• Clinic operates Sunday to Thursday.

• Shifts are scheduled according to clinic needs.
