Description:
As the New Business Manager for our Highways Electrical division, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base, driving revenue growth, and maximizing profitability. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of a range of solutions such as Street lighting, CCTV, EV Charging points, decorative lighting and many more.
Core Responsibilities of the Role
- Develop, review, and implement new business strategies
- Create, submit tenders, based off drawing, specification and knowledge
- Create new business relationships with potential clients
- Prepare financial reports, and forecasts
- Assist in present new business proposals
Some of your role will involve:
- Business Development: Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the Highways Electrical sector, focusing on expanding our client base and generating revenue growth.
- Market Research: Conducting market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and industry trends.
- Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and providing innovative solutions to meet their requirements.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals/Quotes to prospective clients, highlighting the unique value propositions of our services and products.
- Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with clients, legal teams, and internal stakeholders to negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring compliance with NEC contracts and relevant regulations.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with project teams to ensure smooth project initiation, execution, and completion, meeting client expectations and contractual obligations.
