Description:
Spire Leeds Hospital, part of Spire Healthcare Group plc, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated NHS Administrator (NHS Co-ordinator) to join their administration department on a permanent, full-time basis.

With state-of-the-art facilities including four operating theatres, a sterile services department, endoscopy suite, diagnostic imaging department with MRI and CT scanning, outpatient services, and physiotherapy units, Spire Leeds is dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Capacity Managers, clinical teams, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth administration of NHS services, monitoring patient pathways, supporting performance targets, and contributing to high standards of care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain communication across multidisciplinary teams, demonstrating strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
Work with Capacity Managers to analyse clinic capacity and identify areas for improvement.
Support efficiency initiatives and contribute to meeting NHS Referral to Treatment (RTT) targets, flagging potential breaches.
Assist in handling complaints in line with policy.
Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with GDPR and Spire policies.
Ensure accurate and timely updating of national and local databases (SAP and other systems).
Contribute to risk management, office systems, and control processes for service delivery.
Record and circulate departmental meeting minutes when required.
Provide administration support for audits, trials, and reporting.
Liaise with patients, ensuring effective scheduling (e.g., outpatient appointments, admissions, and treatment dates).
Support policy updates and best practice changes to optimise operations.
Candidate Profile:
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
NVQ Level 3 in Administration or IT (or equivalent practical experience).
Good communicator, able to build collaborative working relationships.
Computer literate with strong data management skills.
Previous healthcare administration experience advantageous but not essential (full training provided).
