Responsibilities of the NOC Engineer:
- Implementation, monitoring, and support of the company's IT Infrastructure and Networking.
- Adherence to IT Support and service processes.
- Collaborating closely with project managers and technical support teams.
- Proactively monitoring IT Systems to ensure 24x7x365 uptime.
- Working on continuous support and improvement of the UK IT Infrastructure, including upgrades and enhancements.
- Contributing to the development of the IT dashboard for the Network Operational Centre.
Skills and experience required
- Strong experience with Linux Server OS.
- Commercial IT Support background.
- A tenacious approach to learning new technologies and processes.
- Team player, willing to share specialist knowledge with colleagues.
- SC Cleared or eligible for clearance.
- Knowledge of Commercial Networking.
- Firewall Configuration expertise.
- Switch and router configuration proficiency.
- Understanding of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and key management.
