Non-medical Prescriber

North London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Non-medical Prescriber to provide specialist prescribing services within the Neuro Developmental Disorders (NDD) Service, primarily for ADHD, across the London Boroughs of Camden and Islington. This role requires working as part of a multidisciplinary team in secondary care settings, providing high-quality, evidence-based interventions for individuals with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver non-medical prescribing interventions for patients with ADHD and other NDD conditions

• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with Clinical Governance targets

• Cover clinics in cases of planned or unplanned staff absence

• Participate in clinical audits, trials, and research to monitor service quality

• Provide clinical supervision to nurses and other staff

• Develop and evaluate service initiatives and policies relevant to the NDD service

• Provide specialist input and innovative strategies to meet client needs

• Contribute to multi-disciplinary team service development and planning

• Act independently to organize workload in alignment with service objectives

• Review and update protocols to ensure clinically effective, evidence-based practice

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding NDD team covering five North Central London Boroughs for Autism and ADHD services, with increased funding aimed at improving service delivery and reducing wait times. The Trust actively supports continued professional development (CPD) through an extensive in-house programme.
