Nursery Room Manager

London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) is currently hiring a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Manager to lead the Baby Room at its Colville Nursery in Notting Hill, London. The nursery is ideally located close to Ladbroke Grove and Westbourne Park tube stations. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a starting salary of £32,838 per year.

As a Room Manager at LEYF, you’ll play a pivotal leadership role within the nursery, guiding your team with creativity, warmth, and professionalism. You will be responsible for shaping your room’s environment to suit your team, the children, and the local community while delivering exceptional early years education and care. LEYF empowers its Room Managers with autonomy, trusting them to lead their spaces with imagination and purpose, guided by the organization’s social pedagogy.

Requirements:

• Level 3 or above Early Years / Childcare qualification (mandatory).

• At least 1 year of experience as a Room Leader, Room Manager, or 3rd in Charge.

• Strong safeguarding knowledge and a nurturing approach.

• Must have full right to work in the UK – sponsorship is not available.
