Description:
Join a friendly, forward-thinking Children’s Community Occupational Therapy Team delivering highly specialist OT interventions across Birmingham. This role offers the opportunity to lead and support a passionate OT team within a service rated Gold for care quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver highly specialist occupational therapy services to children and young people with additional needs to ensure access to inclusive education.
Work collaboratively as part of multidisciplinary and multi-agency teams, using a tiered model of care.
Provide holistic assessment, early identification, diagnosis, and intervention.
Maintain and promote clinical excellence referencing current research and evidence-based practice.
Contribute to the development of citywide OT provision, especially within traded contract settings in schools.
Support, lead, and develop the OT team within BCHC Plus Traded service.
