Office Administrator

 

Description:

We are looking to recruit an office administrator with bookkeeping experience and has had practical experience within an office/practice environment.

The role will be a combination of office administration and bookkeeping services. You will be mainly responsible for various office administration duties as well as provide assistance with preparation of VAT returns for clients.

Key responsibilities

· Bookkeeping duties from client records to produce VAT Returns

· Assist with ad hoc accounts analysis and preparation work when required

· Assist with ad hoc self assessment returns, income & expenditure and rental accounts work when required

· Answering telephone calls, message taking and client communication

· Meeting and welcoming client visits for meetings, etc

· Typing, Printing, binding, photocopying, letters, emails etc

· Post, opening, scanning, distribution, post out, logging, etc

· Office timesheets to update on a weekly basis

· Regular filing duties as well as annual archiving of clients’ information/work

· Document management and distribution, ie getting documents to the right people, using the right standard document formats etc

· Assist with the file setup of new clients

· Monitoring and managing supplies, dealing with deliveries and stationary orders

· Database management

· Supporting team of partners/accountants on a range of administrative functions

· Chasing outstanding fees

· Various ad hoc other general office duties

We are situated on the A34 Walsall Road (opposite Selco), off the Rocky Lane Junction, near Junction 7 of M6.
