Description:

Ludlow Bookbinders is seeking an experienced and proactive Office Manager to support the Managing Director and the Customer Success Manager in a traditional handcraft book bindery. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic, creative environment. This varied and hands-on role is key in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including handling calls, emails, supplies, and filing.

  • Handle client enquiries, quotes, and invoicing.

  • Maintain and update project schedules.

  • Support the Managing Director with diary management and general administrative tasks.

  • Help organize deliveries and coordinate with suppliers.

  • Lend a hand in the workshop when needed (no experience necessary, just a can-do attitude).

  • Keep the office tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal.

  • Comfortable juggling varied tasks and switching gears quickly.

  • A positive, team-oriented attitude with a "no task too big or small" mentality.

  • Ideally experienced or have exposure to a small business environment.

  • Basic bookkeeping or knowledge of software like Xero is a plus (but not a must).
