Offshore Wind Foundations Detailed Design Project Manager

Description:

To deliver vital offshore wind projects, we are looking for an Offshore Wind Foundations Detailed Design Project Manager to join our growing team. Working on both UK and International projects you’ll play a key role in ensuring the design phase is managed successfully.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Project Management with special focus on detailed design of Offshore Wind Foundations
• Supervising and supporting tenders for selected prospects
• Supervising contracts along with risk management, quality assurance, document control and cost control for the projects
• Looking after change management and delivery assurance, including certification
• Guiding project teams in execution of the projects
• Ensuring well-being of project teams and create followership
• Guiding project discipline leads and design teams
• Managing stakeholders, suppliers, and partners
• Developing cohesive multi-location project teams
• Ensuring state-of-the art solutions meeting customer needs
• Ensuring your projects are delivered in line with COWI's global best practice

On top of that, you’ll:

• Hold a Bachelor or master's degree or PhD in a related engineering discipline
• Have experience in the delivery and management of detailed design of Offshore Wind Foundations.
• Be experienced in Project Management with knowledge of the Marine and Offshore segments
• Have experience with design of all common foundation types for offshore wind turbines and substations
• Have knowledge of structural engineering or hydrodynamics
• Professional communication skills in English (oral and written)
• Have a proven history of delivering projects to time, cost quality standards across all stages of project lifecycle
