With the General Manager you`ll be leading the team with a culture of solid operational management, where people thrive and are motivated to deliver inspirational visitor experiences. You`ll put in place new ways of working and taking our team with you, you`ll motivate them to care for this special place with the highest standards of visitor experience, sales, conservation and presentation. You will join us as we establish a programme of tours and talks as well as family friendly drop in sessions and revitalisation of our education offer. All this is underpinned by a model that is financially sustainable and engages our staff, volunteers and external stakeholders.

You`ll work collaboratively with our internal team to oversee the delivery of extensive commercial activity. This includes operating our retail outlets and hosting exceptional venue hire activity with everything from private events to filming and concerts.
