Operations Project Manager

Description:

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, develop and deliver operational projects and processes which will support the Volunteering Team’s strategy.

You will be responsible for devising key business processes, pro-actively managing improvements for collaboration and efficiencies; influencing stakeholders across the organisation and representing the needs and objectives of community facing teams, helping to achieve in year and 5 year goals.

What will I be doing?

• To implement and deliver operational projects, ensuring that key milestones are met and dependencies are managed appropriately.

• Lead and support on performance management development within Volunteering.

• Represent Volunteering in cross organisational projects, managing the department’s activities to ensure we deliver against agreed responsibilities.

• Champion and deliver good process and project management techniques and practices across community teams.

• Lead and support projects, initiatives and activities to deliver excellent processes which meet internal and external stakeholder needs.

• Confidence when communicating and engaging with a vast range of stakeholders and charity supporters.

• Change Management implementation skills

• Ability to quickly assimilate large amounts of detailed information to make recommendations based on insight.

• Able to present recommendations to decision makers clearly and concisely.
