Specsavers Ashbourne is seeking a dedicated and qualified Optometrist to join their well-established, customer-focused team. This part-time role is ideal for either a newly qualified or experienced professional looking to grow their career within one of the UK’s most trusted names in optical retail.
Working in a supportive and progressive environment with access to advanced diagnostic technology and clinical resources, the successful candidate will deliver high-quality eye care and contribute significantly to the continued success and growth of the practice.
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and deliver expert advice tailored to individual patient needs
Contribute to the smooth operation of the store as part of the wider clinical and leadership team
Provide exceptional customer service and help foster a welcoming atmosphere for patients
Collaborate with Opticians, Technicians, and management to enhance store performance and patient outcomes
Maintain accurate records in compliance with GOC standards
Play a role in the clinical development of the store by supporting pre-registration supervision and continuous education
GOC registered Optometrist (General Optical Council)
Passionate about delivering outstanding eye care and customer service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail with strong professional ethics
Willingness to be involved in store leadership and development
Motivated to grow clinically and professionally through programs such as ILM leadership training and Specsavers Partnership Pathway
Basic salary up to £50,000 DOE (pro rata)
