Specsavers in Burton Upon Trent is seeking a forward-thinking Optometrist to join their community-focused store. The store emphasizes delivering exceptional patient experiences, growing a loyal customer base, and maintaining the highest standards of optical care. With a recent store refit including six fully equipped test rooms and the latest clinical technology, the successful candidate will have the tools and support needed to excel in their role.
Provide high-quality patient care and vision assessments.
Deliver enhanced optical services including pre & post-op cataracts, glaucoma refinement, and support with IP/Medical retina services.
Collaborate with the team to maintain a welcoming, professional environment.
Participate actively in store activities, contributing to team development and patient engagement.
Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with GOC standards.
GOC registered Optometrist (mandatory).
Strong clinical judgment and hands-on approach.
Commitment to exceptional patient care and service excellence.
Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Willingness to grow professionally and support store development initiatives.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per year plus performance-related bonus.
Full-time or part-time hours considered (1 day over weekend required).
