Description:
We are looking for a reliable, professional, and hardworking Part-Time Packer & Driver to join our team in Nottingham. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in safe handling, excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards.
Working Hours
- 3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Flexibility: Ability to work additional days (Monday or Friday) when required
Role Overview
As a key representative of our brand, you will be responsible for safely collecting high‑value and fragile items from clients, transporting them to our store, and professionally packing them for dispatch. You will also support general store operations and communicate with customers both in person and over the phone.
All training will be provided, including:
- Safe collection and loading procedures
- Professional packing techniques
- Use of our built‑in consignment and dispatch systems
A company van will be provided for all collections and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Professional conduct — Represent our brand with a professional appearance and manner during collections and phone interactions.
- Safe collection & transport — Carefully collect, handle, and load fragile or high‑value items from clients and safely transport them to our store.
- Packing duties — Pack items using standard or custom cardboard boxes, pallets, or crates. All packing materials are provided.
- Vehicle operation — Safely operate company vans and commercial vehicles for local pickups and drop-offs.
- Store support — Assist with inventory management, lifting and handling packages, and stock replenishment.
- Communication — Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and team members.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong driving record
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy packages repeatedly
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Previous experience in packing, logistics, warehousing, or removals is an advantage
