Charlie Bigham’s, the UK’s leading producer of high-quality chilled pre-prepared meals, is looking for Packing Team Members to join their vibrant and hardworking team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring that meals are packed with care, precision, and consistency. As a Packing Team Member, you will play an essential role in maintaining product quality and operational efficiency. You’ll be responsible for operating and maintaining packing machinery, applying final toppings, managing inventory replenishment, and ensuring accurate stacking and logging. This is a physically active role requiring regular lifting and the ability to keep pace with high production demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use specialized machinery to check and remove products not meeting quality standards.

• Add final toppings to dishes with precision.

• Refill packaging machines with sleeves or boxes.

• Accurately stack boxed products onto pallets and move them into logistics.

• Maintain hygiene standards and ensure workspaces remain clean and organized.

• Complete production logs and carry out efficient handovers between shifts.

• Report and escalate issues with machinery promptly.

• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Ability to use or learn to operate packing and quality control machinery.

• Strong attention to detail and a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.

• Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kg repeatedly.

• Computer literacy is desirable.

• Previous machinist experience is a plus but not required.

• A proactive and team-oriented attitude.

• Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-moving environment.

Working Hours:

• Full-time: 40 hours/week

• Monday to Friday, 5:30 PM – 1:30 AM
