MG OMD is seeking a Paid Social Account Director to lead the John Lewis paid social account, driving strategy, innovation, and performance for one of the UK’s most iconic retail brands. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage large-scale paid social campaigns across multiple platforms, shaping the brand’s social media approach.

As a Paid Social Account Director, you will develop and oversee paid social strategies, ensuring they align with both brand and performance objectives. You will lead a team in planning, activating, and optimizing campaigns across Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, and other emerging platforms, ensuring best-in-class execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee paid social strategy, ensuring alignment with brand and performance goals.
• Manage large-scale campaigns across multiple social media platforms.
• Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers and Executives, fostering professional growth.
• Build strong relationships with senior clients and platform partners, acting as a trusted advisor.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in paid social, ideally within retail or e-commerce.
• Strong commercial mindset and experience managing large budgets.

• Experience in managing and mentoring teams.
