Description:
Linnaeus, a leading partnership of veterinary practices across the UK and Ireland, is looking to appoint a Paid Social Media Manager on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This role is pivotal to scaling the paid social function across both national and local campaigns supporting over 63 veterinary clinics and 17 specialist referral hospitals.
This is a hybrid role based in the UK, offering the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative marketing team within an organization devoted to making a better world for pets. The position requires an experienced, data-driven digital marketer who can manage large-scale paid social campaigns across multiple platforms and accounts, while aligning efforts with broader business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute paid social media strategies for B2C (pet owners) and B2B (referring veterinary professionals).
Manage and optimize campaigns across platforms including Facebook, Instagram (Meta), LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
Build a scalable paid social structure for multiple locations and services.
Strategically allocate budgets across campaigns, adjusting to regional trends and seasonal changes.
Deliver data-rich reporting using KPIs such as CPA, CTR, ROAS, and engagement metrics.
Partner with creative and content teams to develop high-performing ad assets.
Integrate paid social media strategy with broader digital marketing funnel including CRM, website traffic, and retargeting.
Support referral-focused educational campaigns targeting professional audiences and pet owners alike.
Essential Experience and Skills:
Proven track record in managing paid social campaigns across Meta platforms.
In-depth understanding of ad structure, audience targeting, and performance tracking.
Hands-on experience managing over 80 ad accounts simultaneously.
Competence in A/B testing, creative optimisation, and retargeting strategies.
Advanced skills in Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Looker Studio, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication, copywriting, and campaign briefing skills.
Organized and capable of managing multiple campaigns and dynamic budgets.
Desirable Experience:
Experience in veterinary, healthcare, or service-based B2C industries.
Multi-brand paid media experience.
Familiarity with emerging platforms like TikTok and YouTube for paid campaigns.
Understanding of how organic social integrates with paid social strategy.
Background in agency work or transitioning from agency to in-house role.
Passion for animal health, pet care, and welfare.
