Panel Machinist

What You'll Be Doing
 

• Performing machine pre use safety checks
• Setting up the machine/process in accordance with the specific SOP
• Running Panel production lines as part of a team environment
• Producing confirmations on MES
• Performing detailed process quality checks in accordance with the area SOP
• Changing tooling and performing minor adjustments to the desired standards
   

Our Machine Operators Need To
 

• Have manufacturing experience working in a fast-paced factory environment
• Ability to read and understand manual handling risk assessments and SOPs
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Have a background in edge banding technology and/or CNC cutting/drilling
• Diagnostic and problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset, an understanding and appreciation of 5S approach to continually seek ways to improve our processes
• Work effectively as part of a team with the ability to operate independently as required
• Good communication skills
• SAP knowledge desirable but not essential
