Description:

Gallagher is seeking a Partner Assurance Analyst to join its dynamic team in Chelmsford, contributing directly to the company’s global risk management operations. This position sits at the core of the Partner Assurance Agency Team, which plays a vital role in negotiating, drafting, and managing agreements with new trading partners—effectively acting as the “first line of defence” within Gallagher's governance framework.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Non-Standard Terms of Business Agreement (TOBA) contracts, collaborating closely with the Standard TOBA Team, and ensuring that all contractual records are accurately maintained and accessible. You will develop strong working relationships with both internal departments (Retail, Wholesale, Underwriting, Compliance, Legal, Financial Crime) and external trading partners.

You will be expected to support the team with documentation, maintain compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, assist in special projects, and contribute to insightful management reporting. The role also includes the opportunity to build expertise in the UK regulatory framework and influence contract negotiation strategy across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and manage Non-Standard TOBA contracts

  • Collaborate with internal teams to address queries and renegotiate agreements

  • Maintain central agreement records for full transparency

  • Facilitate business operations by aligning stakeholders across departments

  • Document and update all processes in line with legal and regulatory standards

  • Support ongoing projects, delivering management insights and stepping in during high workloads

  • Produce high-quality submissions and reports for senior management

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Background in compliance, assurance, or regulatory operations is a plus

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Proficient in IT and comfortable adopting new systems

  • Strong organizational and workload management skills

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
