Partnership Sales Manager

 

Description:

This is a new commercial position responsible for overseeing the delivery of revenue from existing key account partners as well as engaging & delivering the next wave of identified key accounts.

This role demands an experienced salesperson that has worked in b2b event sponsorship sales or similar, who can set the strategy around clients, identify their requirements, build vital senior level relationships, and engage clients to deliver long-term growth across the portfolio of services that includes venue based events, digital events, bespoke events, content & research reports and directories.
Responsibilities include:

  • Develop the key account strategy & execution plan for existing and new accounts
  • Manage and grow key accounts
  • Identify, engage & deliver new key accounts
  • Work and collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Content & Product to support key account growth
  • Work closely with the membership team to fully understand and keep updated on industry trends, challenges and insights.
  • Fully understanding each key account, their solutions, and goals, being their internal champion to ensure the business successfully delivers each campaign.
  • Share new opportunities to commercialize products
  • Achieve monthly targets

Background & Skills

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive sales experience gained in the conference & events industry, you will most likely be selling sponsorship packages to blue-chip clients (or similar). Ideally, 4+ years of sponsorship sales experience with a demonstrable track record of success
  • Experience of consultative solutions selling is essential
