Pensions Associate Consultant

 

Description:

Gallagher Benefit Services is seeking a Pensions Associate Consultant to support the Specialist Markets team. The role involves providing high-quality support for Associate Consultants, Consultants, and Management in all aspects of their work with corporate clients. You will handle regular client interactions, maintain up-to-date technical pensions knowledge, assist with client governance meetings, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. This is a B2B, corporate pension, and employee benefits role focused on delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support new pension implementations alongside senior management and client owners
  • Anticipate client needs and provide proactive, high-quality service
  • Maintain and update technical pensions knowledge to support clients
  • Assist with client governance meetings and inquiries
  • Prepare and finalize client reports and presentations
  • Monitor financial control over client budgets and manage diary and workflow efficiently
  • Ensure all client deadlines and service levels are met, including managing action points from meetings
  • Identify and progress new business opportunities while adhering to internal policies, laws, and regulations

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Solid technical knowledge of DC Pensions, including products, markets, and regulatory standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and relevant internal systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Client-focused, proactive, and able to anticipate client needs
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently
