Description:
Isio is seeking a Pensions Project Administrator to join their newly formed specialist Administration Project Implementations Team. This role is designed to provide dedicated support to operational teams by managing and delivering pension scheme administration projects without diverting resources from day-to-day client portfolio operations.
You will be involved in a variety of technical and high-priority pension administration projects such as GMP reconciliation and equalisation, benefit analysis and rectification, insurance transactions, scheme events, data validation, and other administration activities. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can help the business quickly adapt and execute projects while maintaining compliance and operational efficiency.
Support planning, execution, and monitoring of pension administration projects, ensuring projects meet deadlines and budget constraints.
Perform detailed data analysis and validation to maintain the accuracy and integrity of pension scheme data, identifying discrepancies and issues.
Prepare regular and comprehensive project status reports highlighting milestones, risks, and issues, and provide recommendations to improve project delivery.
Ensure all project activities adhere to relevant pension legislation, industry standards, and internal policies. Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and best practices.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external clients, and third-party providers to facilitate smooth project delivery and clear communication.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality within pension administration projects.
Maintain meticulous project documentation including project plans, risk registers, issue logs, and other key records, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible.
Provide training and support to team members and clients on project-related activities and pension administration processes as required.
Experience delivering administration services to Defined Benefit pension schemes is highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Well-developed organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Experience working in a third-party pension administration environment is advantageous.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for data management and reporting tasks.
A willingness to learn and develop in pension administration and related technical knowledge.
Knowledge of pension legislation and technical aspects of pensions will be a strong advantage.
