Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for an HR/People Experience Advisor to join our team and support our Manufacturing function in both Chirk and Marlbrook. The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to partner and interact with colleagues and people managers in our dynamic factories. With ongoing site transformation at Chirk, it’s an exciting time to join our team. You will also work closely with the HR/People Team and managers in activating and implementing the People agenda.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as a champion for our people processes as a key member of the People Team.
- Utilize data and insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Support various People activities, including onboarding/induction.
- Coach staff in using new technology and HR systems.
- Build relationships with colleagues at all levels to facilitate understanding of self-service processes.
- Drive business initiatives such as learning activation and engagement surveys.
- Lead recruitment campaigns, manage salary updates, and support DE&I plans locally.
- Contribute to People and Culture projects.
- Handle HR administration and HR system transactions.
- Manage absence management processes.
- Support Employee Relations topics, including investigation and disciplinary meetings.
- Serve as a point of contact for HR questions from employees and managers, promoting and supporting the self-service model. This involves coaching employees and managers to complete transactions in Workday.
Candidate Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in Employee Relations.
- Experience in HR Manufacturing roles.
- Proactivity and curiosity.
- A drive to challenge the status quo and established ways of working.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Located in Chirk, UK, with the requirement to travel to Marlbrook.
