Policy Analyst

You'll be responsible for supporting the Future Programme to create content for all policies within the People Function as part of the future blueprint for Asda for the People Tower. This role supports the policy plan and design, working closely with the Future team on the delivery of new systems process capability, system enhancements, and ensures solutions developed meet business needs and are aligned to future People operating models. This role is accountable for ensuring policies are documented accurately.

Your Role

  • Knowledge as an SME of HR policies, processes, governance, compliance and technology
  • Being an ambassador of policy standards/templates, Change Governance, quality of delivery and cross functional working
  • Contributing policy changes to change impact assessments to ensure the needs of the customer and HR operational change delivery are fully considered and met when delivering any change that impacts the customers and People Operations
  • Work alongside and collaborate with colleagues in the Future Programme, HRSS and the People Centre of Expertise teams to align on policies/knowledge documents, training and communications
  • Participate and actively contribute to workshop sessions, follow up communications and driving action plans
  • Ensures documentation/update of all policies, systems and service offerings as a result of policy, process or system change
  • Adhere to all Governance principles and ensure all necessary documentation, plans and stage gates/sign off points are adhered to
  • Drive engagement across the People Tower for all policy related activity and cross functional dependencies and driving a culture of continuous improvement
  • Challenge the business to simplify new and existing policies and related documents to help create a simpler business
