We are now seeking a dynamic Practice Director – Primary Care to join our leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced people and business leader who wants to make a meaningful impact across clinical standards, client care, financial performance, and team development.

Roles And Responsibilities

As Practice Director, you will:
 

• Lead the operational and financial performance of your practice in partnership with the Lead Vet and central support teams.
• Must have experience in holding full P&L accountability to drive change and performance through a people and customer centric lens
• Drive excellence in patient and client care, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and wellbeing.
• Provide strategic leadership, guiding your Senior Leadership Team (Lead Vet, Clinical Nursing Manager/Practice Manager).
• Oversee all key business areas including leadership, HR, operations, health & safety, client care, and marketing.
• Collaborate with central partners (Finance, HR, Marketing, Clinical Leadership) to deliver practice strategy and performance.
• Inspire, coach, and develop teams to achieve their full potential.

Essential skills & experience:
 

• Proven leadership and management experience.
• Strong financial awareness, including budget management.
• Track record of coaching, mentoring, and developing others.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A commitment to clinical quality and client experience.
   

Desirable:
 

• RVN qualification or experience in Veterinary/Healthcare setting
• Leadership or business management qualification.
