The successful applicant will support the ongoing professional development of our teams, with a particular focus on supporting our newly qualified midwives, and in doing so will contribute to the delivery of a high quality maternity service. The role will be largely based in the clinical areas supporting and enhancing practice

You will receive a warm welcome from a high functioning, cohesive and enthusiastic Maternity service.

The job role is varied and will provide multiple opportunities for personal development.

The post holder(s):

  • Will be responsible for the supoort and development of our newly qualified midwives
  • Will assist in the review the preceptorship package with the guidance of the lead practice educator to ensure the outcomes reflect the needs of the midwives, the wider MDT and the evolving service.
  • Will be involved in the ongoing training and development of our Team, including the facilitating of MDT training , including PROMPT.
